29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) A Colonial Compactors Roll-Offs trash receptacle container located outside the north side of the building - The front and two (2) side access doors to this trash compactor were not interlocked to prevent operation of the trash compactor while the door(s) were opened, exposing employee(s) to possible crushing and/or amputation injuries.
