29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system. Jobsite: The employees, engaged in roofing activities on a low pitched roof were not protected from the hazard of falling approximately 11 feet 9 inches to the ground by the use of appropriate fall protection systems/devices. Elm City Roofing was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 282840, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 06/12/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 199 South End Street New Haven CT 06512.
