29 CFR 1926.106(a):Employee(s) working over or near water where the danger of drowning existed, were not provided with U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket(s) or buoyant work vest(s): On or about 12/06/2012, at the above mentioned jobsite, an employee was operating a jet vac to clean the interior pipe connection for a water sewage line and was positioned over a trench with approximately 8 feet of water without wearing a personnel floating device. NOTE: THIS VIOLATION REQUIRES AN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION.
