29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) a) Jobsite, UPJ Nursing and Health Center, 217 Student Union Drive, Johnstown, PA: On or before 12/06/12, an employee performed electric arc welding on structural steel components using Lincoln Electric Excalibur 7018 welding rods 1/8 inch x 14 inches. The employee was not provided training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment.
