29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate. Location: 163 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468 The floor load capacity for the two bay (upper bay area) oil changing area measuring 26 feet 9 inches wide and 28 feet 10 1/2 inches long with a lower work area below measuring 15 feet square with a height of 6 feet 2 1/4 inches was not marked on plates and conveyed to employees.

29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1): Every flight of stairs having four or more risers shall be equipped with standard stair railings or standard handrails as specified in paragraphs (d)(1)(i) through (v) of this section: Location: Lower Bay, 163 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468 The nine riser stairway between the lower bay and upper bay work areas was not equipped with a standard railing on the right side descending and was not equipped with a midrail on the left side descending.

29 CFR 1910.305(a)(1)(i): Metal raceways, cable trays, cable armor, cable sheath, enclosures, frames, fittings, and noncurrent-carrying parts that are to serve as grounding conductors, with or without the use of supplementary equipment grounding conductors, were not effectively bonded where necessary to ensure electrical continuity and did not have the capacity to conduct safely any fault current likely to have been imposed on them: Location: Lower Bay, 163 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468 The metal BX conduit located on the ceiling of the 15 foot square, 6 foot 2 1/2 inch high lower bay area and used to power the fluorescent ligtht fixture was broke and not bonded to ensure electrical continuity.
