29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Paramount Building Solutions, Inc. on or about December 13, 2012, at the address of 205 W. 4th St. Port Clinton, OH: The employer in control of the job site (as prime contractor) failed to ensure subcontracted employees were adequately protected from falls after awareness of the hazard was known. These employees, removing old roofing material from a steep sloped roof on commercial structure were exposed to falls of up to 20 feet to the ground below.
