29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: On site of a PNC Bank under construction located at 2300 North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach, Florida: Employees performing carpentry work installing plywood sheathing from the basket of an aerial lift approximately 10 ft. 8 inches above a lower level were not provided with a training program that would enable them to recognize the hazards of falling and in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize those hazards, on or about December 13, 2012. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
