OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to slip and fall hazards.     (a) 5025 Jericho Turnpike, Commack (Worksite), Gardening Department Apron - An employee unloading Christmas trees  was exposed to slip and fall hazards while walking and working on the snow and ice covered floor of an enclosed trailer, Utility Trailer Model VS2RA Serial # 1UYVS2530BM068410, on or about December 12, 2012.      Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
