29 CFR 1910.101(b):  The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:    Furnace Room:  On, or about, January 10, 2013, two compressed gas cylinder were not secured while in use at the Old 12 Furnace.  Ref. CGA P-1-1965, Section 3.4.4.

29 CFR 1910.132(a):  Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:    Coating Room:  On, or about, December 17, 2012, employees who worked at the Coating Tank that contained VICAFIL TS 640, a corrosive etching solution, did not routinely wear a face shield over their safety glasses and an apron moving coils in and out of the coating tank and when obtaining samples of the solution for regular testing.    The Siri Manufacturing Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 311763064, Citation Number 1, Item Number 2 and was affirmed as a Final Order on July 7, 2010 , with respect to a workplace located at Danielson, Connecticut.
