29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i):     All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting:    (a) Second floor, processing department, at holding tank #1, under the stairs; Employees were exposed to an inrunning nip point from a rotating shaft that was not properly guarded. The shaft was 9 inches long and one inch thick at the narrowest point. The rotating shaft was accessible from the sides and the bottom. The employer began fabricating a guard during the inspection.    Abated during inspection. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
