Abatement Note: among other methods one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazards is to:     1) Follow the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) safety code A17.1 (2000), Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators limiting and use by passengers of type A material lift elevators, section 7.5.3.3 and Section 2.16.5.1.1.
