29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: Worksite - Employee engaged in clearing gutters around a residential home fell from a roof approximately 18 feet above the ground. The employee was not protected from falling through the use of personal fall arrest systems; on or about 12/07/12. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
