29 CFR 1910.22(c): Covers and/or guardrails were not provided to protect personnel from the hazards of open pits, tanks, vats, ditches, etc. On or about December 21st 2012, employees were exposed to serious slip, trip and or fall injuries, in that the work platform located in the finishing department, was not provided a deck cover to facilitate a safe walking working surface. Abatement certification for this violation is required.
