29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about Thursday January 3, 2013 on top of the basket section of the roof at 5935 Memorial Drive Stone Mountain, GA 30083; One employee was observed installing cut metal soffit material on top of the roof wearing a safety harness and not tied off and another employee was observed working on the roof area without any fall protection. The height of the area they were working in on the roof was about 15 4 from the lower level.
