29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): "Hoist areas." Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8 m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about January 3, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees engaged in loading operations were exposed to falls of approximately fifteen(15) feet when no fall protection was used in the material handling area.

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a.
