29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about January 2, 2013, on the north side of the building, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of 22 feet while engaged in roofing activities on a residential building roof with an 8:12 pitch.
