29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):     Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a)110 Rt. 10, East Hanover, NJ:Employees conducting roofing activities approximately 30 feet from the ground below were not utilizing any type of fall protection, exposing the employees to fall hazards.         Violation observed on or about 12/22/12.
