(a) In the paint area materials such as but not limited to 1 gal paint cans, rags, cardboard, and dust accumulation litttered the floor and other areas creating trip hazards, combustible materials hazard,  and general unsanitary conditions. The platform had missing midrail on one side and no railing on the stair side and back.      Abatement certification and abatement document is required for this violation. 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(v)(b): Railing construction type, size and/or arrangement did not meet the minimum requirement of strength to withstand at least 200 pounds top rail pressure:    (a) In the press room employees accessed a platform approximately 7 feet above the floor to turn on and adjust equipment. The railing which did not protect all sieds of the platform was made from Inco type twisted wire chain that would not support a 200 lb pressure in all directions. 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1):  Electric equipment was not free from recognized hazards that was likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees as prescribed in paragraphs (b)(1)(i) through (b)(1)(iii) of this paragraph:    Wiring from the on/off switch to the motor of the Model TS3650 Rigid Table Saw had been spliced/repaired using wire nuts and electrical tape and left hanging loosely from the machine exposing it to physical damage.
