29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): A work rest was not used to support the work piece on an offhand grinding machine: a) Welding shop: a six inch, Delta bench grinder was utilized and the grinder was not equipped with a work rest. Inadvertent movement of the work piece could result in the piece becoming jammed in the abrasive wheel resulting in wheel breakage and employee injury.
