Conductors entering boxes, cabinets, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter shall be effectively closed. Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall also be effectively closed. a) An employee who had used Romex as temporary wiring to power permanent outside lighting had installed three flexible cables into one hole on the bottom of the second floor panel box, without any bushing or fitting to protect the wiring from abrasion. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
