On or about January 8, 2013, at 1275 Gallatin Way, Suwanee, Georgia:    Three employees framing a house were exposed to struck-by hazards nails and wood debris while using pneumatic nail guns without eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    On or about January 8, 2013, at 1275 Gallatin Way, Suwanee, Georgia:    a) Two employees framing a house were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9-feet to greater than 25-feet when they stood on top of the trusses while working without using fall protection.     b) Two employees framing a house were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.4-feet to 19.4 feet when they worked near the unprotected sides/edge of the second floor.     c) One employee framing a house was exposed to a fall hazard of approxmately 21.8-feet when he scaled the frame of the house and worked while standing on an unfinished window ledge without using fall protection.     d) Six employees framing a house were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9-feet when they worked nearr an unguarded floor opening from the first floor to the basement.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:    On or about January 8, 2013, at 1275 Gallatin Way, Suwanee, Georgia:    Four employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.4-feet when they used a metal ladder from the first floor to the second floor landing that did not extend three feet above the landing.
