29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about 1/8/2013, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were performing carpentry duties and drywall installation and were not protected from fall hazards. Instance 1: Employees were working on the 2nd level exposed to a 9' fall hazard. Instance 2: Employees were working on the 2nd level exposed to a 18' fall hazard.
