29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: On or about 1/9/13, at the above addressed jobsite, employees handling and applying cement while conducting stucco work on a commercial building were not wearing personal protective equipment. Instance 1: Three employees were not wearing work gloves or long sleeve shirts while working with cement containing silica. Instance 2: One employee was not wearing long pants while working with cement containing silica. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION. Kawa Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.95(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312150568, citation number 01, item number 001, issued on 12/11/2008, with respect to a workplace located at 30515 Overseas Highway, Big Pine Key, Florida 33043, which became a final order on 2/13/2009.

PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION. Kawa Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312150568, citation number 01, item number 002, issued on 12/11/2008, with respect to a workplace located at 30515 Overseas Highway, Big Pine Key, Florida 33043, which became a final order date on 2/13/2009.
