29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about January 17, 2013, east side of the construction site, an extension cord without a strain relief device was utilized by employees performing plumbing activities on a residential construction site exposing employees to electrical hazards.
