29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Worksite located at 805 W. Omaha Ave, Norfolk, NE; Protein Evaporator/Blowknox Area: A florescent light fixture which is designed for a wet/damp location has a damaged cover that allows water to enter the fixture. Although the installation is correct for the location, the damage creates a recognized electrical hazard. Abatement certification is required for this violation. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
