29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring sytem: a) At the worksite and on January 17, 2013, employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing a re-roof on a commercial building, 16 feet, 10 inches above the ground. The employees were not protected by any type of a fall protection system. Industrial Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number, 315195248, citation number 01, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on May 27, 2011 with a final abatement date of May 27, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at 8477 Hwy 6 North, Houston, TX 77095.
