29 CFR 1926.404(f)(6): Grounding path. The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures shall be permanent and continuous. a. In the parking garage where employees were cutting lumber to install temporary windows, an extension cord was missing the ground prong, thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard. b. At the temporary electrical panel where employees plugged in extension cords, an extension cord was missing the ground prong, thereby exposing employees to a contact hazard.
