29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) On or about January 24, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the Zaxbys jobsite in Savannah, the employer failed to ensure that workers performing brick work on the ground at the north end of the building were wearing protective headwear while roofers worked above, exposing employees to struck-by head injuries. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED.
