29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. (a) Quality Siding and Gutters, LLC, at 2114 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Colorado 80538: On or before January 7, 2013 the employer did not ensure the employees were protected from injury, in that 2 employees engaged in gutter installation on a roof with a fall hazard of approximately 9-10 feet without the use of a fall protection system. While on the roof one employee held a step ladder while the other stood on the ladder to install the gutter on the 2nd story eaves.
