29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were other provisions of paragraph (b) of this section used to provide an alternative fall protection measure: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of up to 8 feet 6 inches while performing residential construction activities and no fall protection was being used. a. On January 25, 2013 employees installing trusses were walking the top plate and inspecting a gap between trusses without fall protection. b. On February 14, 2013 employees were installing sheathing on the roof without fall protection. PAUL YODER DBA LINCOLN LAND BUILDERS WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 106466,CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2012 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1604 SANDCHERRY COURT, CHAMPAIGN IL 61820.
