29 CFR 1910.151(c):     Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body shall be provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.  [63 FR 33450, June 18, 1998]    Chicken Staging Area - On or about January 17, 2013, employees were using a corrosive high foam soap to clean the chicken dock. Employees were not provided an emergency eye wash for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes.

29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3):     The employer shall assure that portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check. Stored pressure extinguishers do not require an internal examination. The employer shall record the annual maintenance date and retain this record for one year after the last entry or the life of the shell, whichever is less. The record shall be available to the Assistant Secretary upon request.      Facility - On or about Janaury 17, 2013 the employer had not conducted an annual maintenance check on the portable fire extinguishers.

29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i):     Projecting shaft ends shall present a smooth edge and end and shall not project more than one-half the diameter of the shaft unless guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves.      Front Loading Area - On or about January 17, 2013 a 2 inch shaft on the IPEC machine was projecting 1 1/2 inches without a safety guard.

29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):     Sprockets and chains. All sprocket wheels and chains shall be enclosed unless they are more than seven (7) feet above the floor or platform. Where the drive extends over other machine or working areas, protection against falling shall be provided. This subparagraph does not apply to manually operated sprockets.      Front Loading Area - On or about January 17, 2013 the moving chain on the IPEC machine was 60 inches above the ground and was not enclosed by a guard.
