[63 FR 33450, June 18, 1998] Chicken Staging Area - On or about January 17, 2013, employees were using a corrosive high foam soap to clean the chicken dock. Employees were not provided an emergency eye wash for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes.

29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): The employer shall assure that portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check. Stored pressure extinguishers do not require an internal examination. The employer shall record the annual maintenance date and retain this record for one year after the last entry or the life of the shell, whichever is less. The record shall be available to the Assistant Secretary upon request. Facility - On or about Janaury 17, 2013 the employer had not conducted an annual maintenance check on the portable fire extinguishers.
