29 CFR 1926.1417(d): The operator engaged in a practice or activity that diverts his/her attention while actually engaged in operating the equipment.        Flatbush Ave & New Park Road, on or about 01/25/2013: The crane operator was attempting to communicate with the foreman while a rigging apparatus was suspended when he accidently released the drum brakes causing the rigging apparatus to fall and strike a worker who was unhooking the rigging apparatus from the load.
