(a) Front of House - On or about January 23, 2013 employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working on a wooden scaffold with walkway less than 18 inches. The scaffold walkway was only 12 inches wide and 11.6 feet above the ground. (b) Roof of House - On or about January 23, 2013 one employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a wooden scaffold with walkway less than 18 inches. The scaffold walkway was only 7 inches wide and 15 feet above concrete.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Paragraph (g)(2) of this section addresses fall protection for scaffold erectors and dismantlers. Note to paragraph (g)(1): The fall protection requirements for employees installing suspension scaffold support systems on floors, roofs, and other elevated surfaces are set forth in subpart M of this part. (a) Front of House - On or about January 23, 2013 employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working on a wooden scaffold 11.6 feet above the ground without guardrail system or personal fall arrest system. (b) Roof of House - On or about January 23, 2013 one employee was exposed to a fall hazard while working on a wooden scaffold 15 feet above concrete floor without guardrail system or personal fall arrest system.

29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, form and scrap lumber with protruding nails, and all other debris, shall be kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures. (a) Construction Site - On or about January 23, 2013 employees were exposed to multiple fall and puncture hazards while working. The site was not kept clear of wood boards and wood boards with protruding nails. NEFTALI BARRON FRAMING AND CONSTRUCTION was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety standard 1926.25(a) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313630253, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 18, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 62, Arbor Landing, Brandon, MS 39042.

NEFTALI BARRON FRAMING AND CONSTRUCTION was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313630253, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 18, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 62, Arbor Landing Brandon, MS 39042.
