29 CFR 1910.36(h)(2): The outdoor exit route must be covered if snow or ice is likely to accumulate along the route, unless the employer can demonstrate that any snow or ice accumulation will be removed before it presents a slipping hazard:  The employer does not ensure the outdoor exit routes are free from accumulation of ice or snow. This violation occurred on January 14, 2013 at an establishment located at 10th Street and Avenue K, Texarkana, Texas; where the outdoor exit route to Building 510 had accumulation of ice exposing employees to slip and fall hazards.    Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the requirement, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that outdoor exit routes are free from the accumulation of ice.
