OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falling from the platform of a Genie GS 2668 RT Scissor Lift positioned approximately 20 feet above ground level. (a) West end of site: On 01/24/13 and at times prior thereto, a worker stood on the mid-rails on a Genie GS 2668 RT 4X4 scissor lift platform that was raised to approximately 20 feet from the ground. NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
