29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operators and other employees from hazards created by rotating blades: a) Maintenance Shop - on or about January 31, 2013, a Jet drop band saw did not have the unused portion of the blade guarded, exposing employees to cuts and amputation hazards. b) Maintenance Shop - on or about January 31, 2013, an ENCO vertical metal cutting band saw did not have the unused portion of the blade guarded, exposing employees to cuts and amputation hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) Cutting/Sanding Room - on or about January 31, 2013 and at times prior to, employees were using compressed air, greater than 100 psi to clean out the parts, exposing employees to eye injuries. b) Assembly Area - on or about January 31, 2013 and at times prior to, employees were using compressed air, greater than 100 psi to loosen the parts from the mold, exposing employees to eye injuries. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
