29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about January 30, 2013, an employee was observed working at the edge of a roof without utilizing a proper fall protection system. The employer did not instruct the employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions. The employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 13 to 23-feet to the ground.
