29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Guarding for machine AL-11 did not protect employees from the rotating action of the orange rubber rider roll that created an ingoing nip with the steel roll. b) Bag Star infeed section nip point was not protected during the machine cycle. c) Sachet machine #1 & #2 had the guards for the rotating arms off of the machine and were sitting on the floor. Sachet #1 was in operation at the time of the inspection. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
