29 CFR 1910.178(g)(2): Battery changing and charging installations for industrial trucks were not provided for flushing and neutralizing spilled electrolyte, for fire protection, for protecting charging apparatus from damage from trucks, and for adequate ventilation for dispersal of fumes from batteries: a. Battery charging area - battery charging stations did not have water hoses of sufficient length for flushing spilled electrolyte. Violation observed on or about 1/31/13. b. Battery charging area - battery chargers were left on the ground on top of wooden pallets and were adjacent to a forklift at the battery charging stations. Violation observed on or about 1/31/13.
