29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw was not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut. On or about 10/09/2012, at the shop area, an employee stacking roof boards that that been cut by another employee using the Pop-Up Saw, lost his balance and fell onto the saw. His left hand slid on the board underneath the guard and caught the top edge of the blade, resulting in an amputation to the tips of his 4th and 5th fingers.
