29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. (a) Location - Indian Ridge, Westford, MA: On or about 2/1/13, the employer failed to provide employees with fall protection while materials were being handed-up to the second floor that was more than 6 feet to the lower level. (b) Location - Indian Ridge, Westford, MA: On or about 2/1/13, the employer failed to provide guard rail systems at window openings where the bottom of the opening was less than 42 inches in vertical height.
