29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure: Scapels and sutures, such as but not limited to BD Surgical Blades, and Ethicon monofilament, used at the Hamilton Ambulatory Surgery Center were not equipped with engineered sharps protection exposing employees to the increased risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens due to contaminated needlesticks and other percutaneous injuries.
