29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) The employer failed to provide training to employees on the physical and health hazards presented by chemicals within the workplace such as but not limited to Transogrind 250 Oil and Kool Mist coolant while grinding and/or handling steel and carbide parts. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.134(k)(6): The employer did not provide the basic advisory information on respirators, as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134, in written or oral format to employees who wear respirators when such use was not required by the employer: a) The employer failed to provide the Appendix D located in the Respiratory Protection Standard to employees who voluntarily wear 3M 8210 Particulate Respirator N95. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
