Sub-contractor performing surveying activities was not protected from falls by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system and was exposed to an unprotected edge approximately 30 foot above the next lower level. Violation observed on or about February 5, 2012 b. 4 Beacon Way, Jersey City, NJ - Above garage excavation, south parking area adjacent to Orpheus building. Sub-contractor performing garage construction activities was not protected from falls by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, and was exposed to an unprotected edge approximately 30 foot above the next lower level.
