29 CFR 1918.32(b): The edge of a hatch section, or of stowed cargo, was not guarded by a vertical safety net or other means providing equal fall protection to exposed employees. (a) Aboard the vessel Eco Discovery during log lashing operations employees were observed near the edge of the log load without fall protection, which exposed them to a fall of about 20 feet to the pier below.
