29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about February 6, 2013, LGM Construction LLC, as a controlling employer, did not ensure that Celso Chavero (subcontractor) protected his employees from falls greater than 6 feet while they walked and worked on a roof in order to install siding and perform clean-up without the use of adequate fall protection.
