The employee was not protected by a hard hat or protective helmet, on or about January 22nd, 2013.

Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A) 247 Williams Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights- NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 23 feet while engaged in solar panel installation work on the roof of a residential structure. The employees were not protected by any type of fall protection system, on or about January 22rd, 2013.
