OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a. North parking lot area - employee(s) working off of a 10' fiberglass step ladder on top of a Chevy cargo van 6'9" high for additional base height were exposed to a 12' fall hazard, in that, the rope used to secure the ladder was tied around the body of the van and the legs of the ladder rested on top of the van roof for additional height. Violation observed on or about 2/5/13.
