29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about February 6, 2013, at 265 Ridge Walk Court, Sugar Hill, Georgia: An employee performing brick masonry work while using a hammer and Coosa Type S Masonry Cement which contains chemicals which include but is not limited to Portland Cement was exposed to struck-by hazards and eye irritation from stone shards, fragments, and the masonry cement when he did not use eye protection. The Romero Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 621519, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on October 22, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at Sugar Hill, Georgia.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about February 6, 2013, at 265 Ridge Walk Court, Sugar Hill, Georgia: An employee performing brick masonry work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11-feet when he worked from the porch roof of the house without fall protection. Romero Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 621519, citation number 1, item number 5, and was affirmed as a final order on October 22, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at Sugar Hill, Georgia.
