29 CFR 1926.1412(f)(1): At least every 12 months the equipment must be inspected by a qualified person in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section (each shift) except that the corrective action set forth in paragraphs (f)(4), (f)(5), and (f)(6) of this section must apply in place of the corrective action required by paragraphs (d)(2) and (d)(3) of this section. Jobsite - On or about February 05, 2013 employees were using a 1981 Mack flatbed truck with a Model 6 National 6T-56 crane to lift and mount outdoor signs. The crane has not been inspected in the last 12 months by a qualified person.

29 CFR 1926.1417(c)(1): The procedures applicable to the operation of the equipment, including rated capacities (load charts), recommended operating speeds, special hazard warnings, instructions, and operator's manual, must be readily available in the cab at all times for use by the operator. Jobsite - On or about February 05, 2013 employees were using a 1981 Mack flatbed truck with a Model 6 National 6T-56 crane to lift and mount outdoor signs. The operators's manual was not in the cab of the truck.
